2021
Dustin and Brett launched ProtoTech LLC as a full service design and engineering firm that led concept development efforts, and added horsepower to clients' internal PD&E teams to bring new product to market.
Scaled Capabilities
2022
ProtoTech LLC expanded their team in order to offer complete concept development services, helping manufacturers take ideas for new models from basic sketches to production integration. Deliverables included "digital twin" CAD models, renders, hull design, systems and composite engineering, manufacturing aids, work instructions, and designing refresh features for model-year updates.
Project Management
2023
Dustin and Brett began managing tooling projects for clients, assisting in the process of guiding completed design projects through to the next steps of purchasing quality plugs and molds. Our on-site team optimized manufacturing operations, aiding in an additional 30% of throughput, and created construction drawings to on-board a new facility.
Manufacturing Facility
2024
To have better control on timelines and quality for their clients, Brett and Dustin launched ProtoTech Manufacturing, acquired multiple large format 5-axis CNCs, and built a team of over 40 craftsmen, engineers, and CNC operators.
Expansion
2025
ProtoTech LLC expands capability by adding Laser 3D scanning and metrology services with a focus on the reverse engineering of existing product. Additionally, ProtoTech Manufacturing now offers dimensional verification to provide assurance to our clients that patterns and molds are fabricated to their dimensional specifications. ProtoTech Manufacturing expands part fabrication capacity with an additional facility and technicians.
